TEC Construction started as a department within The Engineering Circle which was established since July 1982, mainly to carry out design and build of special projects.
In 2003 TEC Construction was set out to be a separate company targeting diverse
projects.
TEC construction was involved in executing multi-storey residential and industrial buildings. Following the departments rapid success, expansion, increase in number of
staff, turnover and in addition to the new regulations governing the responsibility of the consultancy firms in the Sudan, the decision was taken that the design and build
department should turn into an independent construction company with its own board of directors and liabilities.
The company is also engaged in the supply, installation and maintenance of  electromechanical equipment and construction machinery.

as well as a brief overview of TEC’s system of quality assurance, construction management and planning.
